Building for the future
Brussels Airport is improving its infrastructure with an innovative project called ‘The Connector’. This building will allow passengers to walk straight from the check-in desk, via a central screening platform, to their gate in pier A or B, all without changing floors. For arriving passengers, the new building will provide smooth and efficient access to the baggage reclaim hall and the exit.
The total surface of 32,850m2 will form the new heart of the airport at a total budgeted cost of €71 million.
Work started in April this year and will be finished by the first quarter of 2015. Those interested can follow the progress live online.
Brussels Airport was the proud overall winner of the 2012 World Routes Award. The aviation marketing team is at your call to provide market studies, up-to-date analyses, survey-based passenger profiles and much more, to support your operation in Brussels.
